Three burglary suspects were arrested after leading Manhattan Beach police on a car chase, authorities said Wednesday.
Matthew Lofton, 29, Jamemal Baker, 20, and David Soloman, 25, all of Los Angeles, were booked on suspicion of burglary, possession of burglary tools and delaying/obstructing a peace officer, said Stephanie Martin of the Manhattan Beach Police Department.
Shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday, a police officer patrolling in a residential neighborhood in the 1200 Block Magnolia Avenue tried to pull over car that had no license plates, Martin said.

“When the officer approached, the driver sped off, and a pursuit was initiated,” Martin said.
The chase led through the neighborhood, and at one point, two passengers got out and ran off, Martin said. Assisting officers set up a perimeter, while the original officer continued the car chase and arrested the driver and a passenger.
