• Manhattan Beach Extends $5 Wave Rider, Cuts Service To 3 Days A Week (patch.com) — Manhattan Beach is keeping its $5 Wave Rider microtransit service through June 2027 but cutting it back to three days a week and fewer vehicles to reduce subsidy costs. Weekend riders, especially seniors who make up about half of trips, should plan for new Friday–Sunday hours starting December 1 as the city tests whether strong ridership can support a more sustainable long-term funding model.
