AT&T Expands Cell Coverage in Manhattan Beach

The telecommunications company adds a site on Grandview Avenue.

Manhattan Beach is among five cities in Los Angeles County where AT&T has activated new 3G cell sites designed to improve coverage for area residents and businesses.

Four other sites were activated Thursday in Los Angeles, Long Beach, San Dimas and Palmdale.

"As part of the Greater Los Angeles community, we're always looking for new opportunities to provide enhanced coverage," said Denita Willoughby, a representative for the company in a press release. "And our investment in the local wireless network is just one way to accomplish this."
