Burglary Suspect Arrested After Chase In Manhattan Beach
The vehicle was seen leaving Manhattan Beach city limits and officers attempted to make a traffic stop, but the driver sped off.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – After a brief chase Wednesday in the Manhattan Beach area, a commercial burglary suspect was arrested.
Officers responded about 2:30 a.m. to a report of a burglary that had just occurred in the 1000 block of Manhattan Avenue, according to Sgt. Tim Zins of the Manhattan Beach Police Department.
The vehicle was seen leaving the city limits and officers attempted to make a traffic stop, but the driver sped off.

"After a brief pursuit, MBPD officers were able to stop the suspect vehicle near Manhattan Beach Boulevard and Crenshaw Boulevard," Zins said. "Thousand of dollars of stolen property was recovered from the suspect vehicle."
The suspect's name, age and gender were not immediately available and the type of merchandise recovered was not disclosed.
