Last chance until 2030: THE LUCKIEST WOMAN ALIVE - This weekend in Hermosa Beach

This weekend is your final chance to see The Luckiest Woman Alive before it disappears from the stage until 2030.
The world premiere dark satirical comedy from local nonprofit RimoVision Group plays Saturday, Oct. 3 at 6 PM at Second Story Theatre in the Hermosa Beach Community Center, one of its last performances before closing Sunday.
The premise is as bold as it gets: a tyrant wakes up in a refugee's body. Now he has to survive her life, starting with nothing but a tent, a sewer, and a list of everyone she lost. Within days, she becomes someone to fear.
Written and directed by Ray Hanna, the show puts Margarita Fernandez front and center in a demanding dual role as both Mallory and Darnall, backed by Todd Martinez, Grace Li, Annie Laurie Malarkey, Martin Renteria, and Savannah Haislip.
This is blackbox theatre up close. With only 35 seats per show, audiences are just feet from the action, and once the run ends Sunday, the next chance to see it won't come for four years.
When: Saturday, Oct. 3, 6 PM
Where: Second Story Theatre, Hermosa Beach Community Center, 710 Pier Ave, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254
