Novastart gives every AI agent its own cursor, keyboard and workspace, allowing people to watch and control multiple agents working across real applications.LOS ANGELES, CA, October 19, 2026 — Novastart today announced a new approach to AI computer use that allows multiple AI agents to operate applications simultaneously while the user continues working on the same computer.Instead of giving an AI agent control of a user's only mouse and keyboard, Novastart gives each agent its own independent cursor and keyboard inside the operating system.Up to 10 AI agents can work at once. Each agent appears directly on Novastart's infinite canvas with its own labeled cursor and window. Users can watch agents click, type and navigate applications in real time while continuing to use their own mouse and keyboard independently. The result is closer to having a team of digital coworkers sitting at the same computer than handing a computer over to a single AI assistant."AI agents shouldn't have to take over your computer in order to help you," said Thomas Fraher, co-founder and CTO of Novastart. "You should be able to keep working while several agents work alongside you — and you should always be able to see exactly what they're doing."From one AI assistant to a team of agentsMost computer-use AI systems operate sequentially. An agent receives a task, takes control of an interface, completes a series of actions and eventually returns the computer to the user.Novastart is designed around a different model: concurrent computer use.A user can give a larger task to a lead agent, which can divide the work among as many as 10 helper agents. Each helper receives its own independent input controls and can work in a separate application or window. For example, one agent could research information in Chrome while another organizes results in a spreadsheet, another drafts a document and another reviews the work — all at the same time. The user remains another independent participant on the computer throughout the process.AI work happens in plain sightNovastart also addresses another problem with autonomous AI systems: visibility. Many AI agents perform work behind the scenes, making it difficult for users to understand exactly what the software is doing until a task is finished. In Novastart, agent activity happens directly on the same infinite canvas as the user's work.Every agent has a visible cursor. Every application it opens appears as a normal window. Users can follow an agent's actions as they happen, interrupt the work when necessary or take control of a window themselves."Autonomy doesn't have to mean invisibility," Fraher said. "The more capable AI agents become, the more important it is for people to see what those agents are doing and remain in control."818-334-4798support@novastart.comCo-founder and CTO, NovastartThomas FraherLearn more at https://novastart.com/Media contactAbout NovastartNovastart is an infinite canvas operating system designed for people, teams and AI agents to work together on one shared canvas.Instead of a traditional desktop, Novastart gives users an unlimited workspace where applications, websites and files can be positioned anywhere. Multiple people and AI agents can interact with applications simultaneously using independent cursors, keyboards and windows.Novastart was founded by brothers Thomas and Nick Fraher and is based in Los Angeles, California. The Novastart app runs the complete Novastart environment inside a window on Windows 10 or Windows 11 and Intel-based Macs.Novastart OS can also be installed directly as the operating system on Intel and other x86 PCs using a USB drive.Novastart replaces the traditional desktop with an infinite canvas that can hold applications, websites, documents and other workspaces across a virtually unlimited area.Users can pan across the canvas, zoom out to see their entire workspace and organize different projects into separate canvases. The operating system was designed from the beginning to support multiple independent users — whether those users are sitting at the computer, connecting remotely or operating as AI agents. That architecture allows humans and AI systems to interact with different applications simultaneously without constantly competing for control of the same cursor, keyboard or active window.Novastart currently supports more than 30 web applications as standalone windows, including Chrome, Claude, ChatGPT, Gmail, Excel, WhatsApp and Notion.AvailabilityNovastart is available now at Novastart (https://novastart.com/) with Free, Pro and Team plans.Users can run Novastart in two ways.A computer designed for humans and AI

Novastart Lets 10 AI Agents Use a Computer at the Same Time — Without Taking Over Your Mouse

LOS ANGELES, CA, October 14, 2026 - Novastart has released an operating system that replaces the traditional desktop with a single infinite canvas. Apps, teammates and AI agents all work on the same canvas, and each AI agent operates with its own visible cursor. Most AI agents that control computers run out of view or take over the user's mouse and keyboard. In Novastart, each agent has separate mouse and keyboard input inside the operating system and works in its own window. Several agents can run at once, and users can see each action, pause or correct an agent, and take back a window at any time."As AI agents take on more work, people need to be able to see what those agents are doing," said Thomas Fraher, co-founder and CTO of Novastart. "In Novastart, every agent has its own cursor on the same canvas as the user."Main features include:- An infinite canvas. Apps are arranged on one canvas that users can pan and zoom. Each canvas reopens in the state it was left.- Visible AI agents. A lead agent can split a task among up to 10 helper agents, each with a labeled cursor and its own window.- Team collaboration. Teammates invited by email can work in each other's windows at the same time, with windows streamed directly between computers. The system opens more than 30 web apps, including Chrome, Gmail, Excel and Notion, as separate windows.Novastart runs as an app on Windows 10 and 11 and Intel-based Macs, and can also be installed from a USB drive as the operating system on x86 PCs in about 8 to 15 minutes. Free, Pro and Team plans are available.About NovastartNovastart was founded in 2025 by brothers Thomas and Nick Fraher and is based in Los Angeles, CA.
