Join us for a day of thoroughbred horse racing at Santa Anita, "The Great Race Place!" From its beginnings, the property and race track were envisioned as a grand, expansive public park. Today, it has come to be known as one of America's most celebrated sporting landmarks! Upon arrival at the track, we will each be presented with a program as we take our reserved seats in the Clubhouse area of the track. A professional handicapper will be on hand to go over the day's races. Also included is a delicious buffet-style luncheon including a fresh salad, variety of entrees, dessert and beverage. We'll have plenty of time to sit back and enjoy all the excitement of thoroughbred horse racing. We will be departing from Joslyn Community Center. This trip is intended for Adults age 55 years and older only. Space is limited; Registration deadline is February 9, 2010 and you can sign up at City Hall.
