Fundraiser For Cop Shot In Leg Held At CPK Manhattan Beach
The fundraiser is an all-day event and California Pizza Kitchen will donate 20 percent of the bill to Officer Gomez.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – The Hawthorne Police Department is hosting a fundraiser this Thursday, April 18 at the CPK in Manhattan Beach for an officer who was recently shot in the leg.
Officer Gomez was injured in an officer-involved shooting the morning of April 7. He underwent surgery and is at home recovering, the Hawthorne Police Department said.
The fundraiser is an all-day event. Participants should bring a flier or mention the Hawthorne Police Department fundraiser for dine-in, takeout, drink and catering orders, and California Pizza Kitchen will donate 20 percent of the bill to Officer Gomez. The fundraiser is applicable at the Manhattan Village and Redondo Beach locations.

The Manhattan Beach CPK is located at 3320 N Sepulveda Blvd, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday.
