Man Accused Of Molesting Minors In Manhattan Beach Wanted By FBI
FBI officials said the man was charged with five felony counts in 2015 but fled to the Philippines shortly after.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Federal officials sought the public's help Wednesday in finding a man accused of molesting children in Manhattan Beach and fleeing to the Philippines in 2015 to avoid prosecution.
In 2015, 49-year-old Edgardo Feralin Dormido, Jr. was charged with five felony counts including two counts of oral copulation or sexual penetration with a child 10 years old or younger, one count of forcible lewd acts upon a child, and two counts of lewd acts upon children, according to the FBI.
Officials believe that Dormido, Jr. fled the country on July 13, 2015, flying from Los Angeles International Airport to Taipei, Taiwan and then to Manila, Philippines. Dormido, Jr. was charged federally with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution and a federal warrant was issued for his arrest.

The FBI said that Dormido, Jr. is likely still residing in the Philippines but may have family members still living in Los Angeles. He was described as a 5-foot, 4-inch tall man with black hair and brown eyes and weighing 130 pounds.
