Manhattan Beach To Host Family-Friendly Tree Planting Event
The City of Manhattan Beach will host a tree planting event on Saturday, April 18 in observance of Earth Day.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The City of Manhattan Beach will have a public tree planting event on Saturday, April 18 in observance of Earth Day.
Community members and students from each Manhattan Beach Unified school and American Martyrs Catholic School, led by student Tree Ambassadors from each school, will plant a total of eight California-native western sycamore trees along the Veterans Parkway across from the Joslyn Community Center.
The city has said that it will provide all planting supplies.

In addition to the tree planting, there will be educational resources and activities for all ages provided, according to the City.
The event is scheduled from 9:30 am to 1 pm, with an opening ceremony with Manhattan Beach Mayor David Lesser kicking off the event.

The meeting point is Veterans Parkway, across from the Joslyn Community Center at 1601 N Valley Dr, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
