Marginal Waves at Best!
Surf Junkie Jeff won't 'See ya in the water' today. Instead, he writes, 'Good luck out there!'

Waking up with the waves on Friday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Manhattan Beach Patch surf report. Well, it's looking like a good day to give the arms a rest from paddling. Yep, the surf is still fairly small and we're seeing those conditions take a turn for the worse.
Most spots are starting off, with some texture or bump on it just about everywhere. We've got a mixture of some minor west northwest and west southwest windswells and a little south southwesterly energy in the water.
That recipe is offering some some crumbly and bumpy sectiony lines, with maybe a few decent ones. Most spots in Manhattan Beach are running about knee to thigh high, with the focal points pulling waist high waves, with a few plus sets.

Checking those tides thanks to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. At 10:41 later this morning the tide drops to a 0.2 low which will have many spots lacking water mid to late morning. The tide then climbs back up to a 3.1 high at 5:48 this evening.
If you're going to grab a session before the storm approaches, throw on at least the 3/2 fullsuit or a 4/3 and possibly the booties, with the water temperature hanging between 56 and 57 degrees. Good luck out there!!
