Mercado Manhattan Beach To Open In Manhattan Village
The restaurant will offer classic and contemporary Mexican cuisine using fresh, local ingredients.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – Mercado Manhattan Beach, a popular Mexican dining concept, is set to open in Manhattan Village, which is currently undergoing a $180 million redevelopment, JLL announced. Mercado Manhattan Beach is scheduled to open in 2019 and will offer classic and contemporary Mexican cuisine using fresh, local ingredients, the press release said.
“Mercado Manhattan Beach will be a key addition to Manhattan Village where visitors can enjoy great fresh food while experiencing a great vibe and atmosphere," said JLL Senior General Manager Don Ziss, who oversees day-to-day operations of Manhattan Village. "Our goal is to continue looking for ways to enhance the customer experience by providing premier food, retail and entertainment options."
The space at the main entrance to Manhattan Village will feature indoor and outdoor seating with tall booths, bar seating, and a patio overlooking the center's new plaza area.

The Manhattan Village redevelopment will focus on open-air retail and restaurant space, focusing on modern luxury and coastal chic while embracing the hometown feel of the area, the press release said. The center is already home to retailers like: Apple, MAC, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Macy's, Sephora, Victoria's Secret, Tommy Bahama, Kiehl's, and California Pizza Kitchen, the press release said. The project is being developed in phases and is slated for full completion in 2020.
