Nice Day to Just Enjoy the Weather
More minimal swell on tap today means break out the small wave gear or just get out to bask in the sunshine, anyway you choose.

Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Manhattan Beach Patch surf report. Well, if the lack of surf has you bummed out, then at least get out there and enjoy the amazing weather. Yep, we're seeing more minimal energy on tap today.
The conditions are starting off nice and clean, with a pretty minor mix of mainly south southwest swell and a tad of northwest energy in the water.
That recipe is offering some fairly soft sectiony lines, with a few decent shoulders on a small wave board of some sort. Most Manhattan Beach spots are seeing knee high waves, with the top combo breaks pulling some thigh to waist high waves, with maybe a plus set on occasion.

At 4:52 early this morning, the tide drained out to a negative 0.5, low which will have many spots lacking water early on. Once that tide fills in a bit we should see things improve a little and become a bit more consistent. The tide climbs up to a 3.5 high at 11:18 later this morning and then drops again to a 2.0 low at 3:57 this afternoon, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
If you're planning on paddling, then you'll want to throw on at least that 3/2 fullsuit or maybe that 4/3 and possibly the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 58 degrees. Good luck out there!
