Over $1,000 In Merchandise Stolen In Manhattan Beach, Suspect Arrested
MBPD arrested a woman in connection to a retail theft where over $1,000 of merchandise was reported stolen.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The Manhattan Beach Police Department arrested a woman in connection to a retail theft where over $1,000 of merchandise was reported stolen.
According to authorities, officers got a report of a grand theft at a retail store in Manhattan Beach at about 1 p.m. MBPD officers located the suspect and attempted to stop her before she drove away and a short police pursuit occurred.
"The 405 on-ramp curb was kind enough to stop the suspect’s vehicle where she was eventually arrested," MBPD said on Facebook.

Traffic at the Rosecrans Avenue 405 on-ramp was briefly closed for about an hour while police apprehended the suspect.
Police said the woman was on probation for previous charges of burglary and assault with a deadly weapon and multiple warrants out for her arrest in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

All stolen property was recovered, according to police.
