Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Manhattan Beach Patch surf report. Well, there's plenty of playful size waves out there this morning. The only bummer--those conditions look questionable!
We're already seeing some texture or even light bump on the surface early on. As far as the surf goes, there's a mixture of energy out there. We have some lingering south swell and some smaller northwest windswell in the mix.
That recipe is offering some crumbly and fairly broken-up lines, with some rippable shoulders. Most Manhattan Beach spots are running about knee to chest high, with the top combo breaks pulling some shoulder high plus sets.

At 9:08 this morning the tide drops to a 0.3 low, which will have several spots in need of water and a little on the inconsistent side mid-morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 4.0 high at 4:21 this afternoon, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
If you're going to get wet, then you'll want to wear at least a 3/2 fullsuit, with the water temperature hanging on the cool side and averaging between 57 and 59 degrees. See ya in the water!
