Remains Found At Loyola Marymount University
Groundskeepers found the decomposing material, prompting a coroner's investigation into whether the remains are human.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – A small amount of decomposing material was found by groundskeepers at Loyola Marymount University Wednesday morning, prompting a coroner's investigation into whether the remains are human.
The remains were found about 9:35 a.m. on or near the Westchester campus of the university, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, which was called to the scene by campus police
The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office was summoned to collect the remains and determine if they are human, police said.
