Rotary Club Gives Joslyn Center New Sign

The center's new marker is one of a few improvement projects taken on by the group.

The Rotary Club of Manhattan Beach on Friday gave the Joslyn Community Center something it sorely needed—a proper sign.

As part of the Rotary Cares program, club members noticed that the Joslyn Center, used primarily by Manhattan Beach seniors, was in need of some improvements. Over the past year, the Rotary Club has also painted the building's interior and provided a drought tolerant landscape upgrade in the front of the building. The club plans to assist with other upcoming projects as well.

The unveiling of the sign and dedication ceremony was held on Friday afternoon in front of the center with various city officials, Rotarians and community members in attendance.
