South Bay Teen Wounded in Shooting
The 18-year-old man was struck in his upper body but his wound was not life-threatening, police said.

HAWTHORNE, CA -- An 18-year-old man was shot and wounded Wednesday in Hawthorne.
The shooting was reported around 2 a.m. on a sidewalk in the 3400 block of El Segundo Boulevard, said Hawthorne police Sgt. Jim Connor.
The man was struck in his upper body but his wound was not life- threatening, Connor said, and he was transported to a hospital for treatment.

"There's very little on suspect information so far," Connor said.
