Mira Costa High School hosted the Southern California Aquatic Association Summer Championship Meet on Saturday, Aug. 20. All SCAA League teams were eligible for the league-wide swim meet, which included teams from South Pasadena and the Beach Cities Surfside Swim Team. On-site observers say "there was lots of energy, lots of kids" and "awesome high-tech scoreboards that showed the kids' name,s lanes and running time and immediately showed the results after the race." Bottom line: Kids had fun as these photos demonstrate.
