Volunteers Needed For Tour De Pier In Manhattan Beach
The Tour de Pier is a stationary bike event where riders raise money for charities including Cancer Support Community Redondo Beach.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – Volunteers are needed for the seventh annual Tour de Pier on May 19 at the Manhattan Beach Pier. The stationary bike event will benefit Cancer Support Community Redondo Beach, The Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research and The Uncle Kory Foundation for Brain Cancer.
Participants raise money for the charities by racking up donors who will pledge to sponsor the time they spend on the bike – the Tour de Pier includes five 50 minute sessions beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Participants can ride for all five sessions, or team up to knock out one session at a time. The fundraising minimum is $750 per bike.

"The South Bay’s best instructors and celebrity guests will spin you through a session with energizing music and loads of excitement and energy," according to the Tour de Pier website.
