Young Anglers Cast for Prizes at Fishing Derby
The 27th annual event proves a big hit with kids and adults.
Early birds got their worms this morning and used them for bait at the 27th annual Fishing Derby at Polliwog Park Pond.
Kids 5 to 12 years old had a chance to win prizes for the most fish reeled in, as well as the longest and most interesting catches.
All fishing was catch and release, and only side casting was allowed.
