• Assault At Local Park in Marina CA: Suspect Arrested on Multiple Charges (crimevoice.com) — Marina police have arrested a Castroville man after an April 13 assault in a local park near Reservation Road and Seaside Circle, and say the incident appears isolated. Officers used photos from the victim to identify the suspect and have since increased monitoring, including deploying a mobile surveillance camera, to reassure nearby residents and park visitors.
   

• Bomb Threat At West Coast Community Bank: Suspect Arrested (crimevoice.com) — A Marina resident has been arrested after Monterey police investigated an April 13 bomb threat at West Coast Community Bank on Bonifacio. The building and nearby businesses were evacuated, streets were closed for several hours, and a sheriff’s K-9 team found no explosives before employees were allowed back.
