Clutter Enflames Del Rey House Fire
Firefighters blame excessive storage for blaze that consumed a bedroom in Del Rey.

Excessive storage caused a fire in a rear bedroom of a home in the Del Rey area tonight, authorities said.
The fire in a one-story home at 12850 Rubens Ave. was reported at 8:46 p.m., said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

It took 37 Los Angeles firefighters, aided by the Culver City Fire Department, 20 minutes to put the flames out.
No injuries were reported, he said. The loss is being tabulated.
