2-Alarm Fire In Antioch Displaces 9 Residents
Nine people were displaced by a two-alarm fire in Antioch Monday evening.
ANTIOCH - Nine people were displaced by a two-alarm fire in Antioch Monday evening, according to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District.
Firefighters announced that two structures were on fire in the 1700 block of Auto Center Drive around 6 p.m.
Shortly after that they upgraded the incident to a second-alarm response.

Firefighters said the fire spread from one house to another due to fallen pine needles and reminded area residents to clean leaves and needles from their rain gutters.
The fire was under control by 6:35 p.m., but it resulted in an estimated $175,000 damage to two structures.

Five adults and four children were displaced. Further details were not immediately available.
