3 Arrested in Alleged Abduction Near Martinez

Sheriff’s deputies arrested three people Saturday near Martinez, in connection with an alleged kidnapping.

At 4:59 p.m., sheriff’s officials received a call from a person who said they saw three men force a woman into a car near Pacheco Boulevard and Vine Street, Lt. Ian Herbert said.

The caller wrote down the vehicle’s license plate number and deputies were able to locate the vehicle, according to Herbert.

Deputies arrested the three men, Herbert said.

The victim did not suffer any injuries.
