Brock Family Fundraiser

Presenting donations to BROCK family

When we proposed a Brock Family fundraiser, we suggested a donation of 10% of gross sales from downtown Martinez merchants during January 27 and 28 to help the Brock family whose home "the Christmas House" on Walnut Street burned down recently. Merchants who participated were:

  • White Rabbit Boutique (plus $100 gift certificate from WRB)
  • Studio Triskellion
  • Central Bark
  • Main Street Sweets (plus $5 gift certificate from Main Street Sweets)
  • Miss Angel’s Tarot Card Readings
  • Char’s Flowers & Gifts
  • I’ve Been Framed
  • Downtown Nails
  • Noodles for Kids
  • La Tapatia – non-monetary - donation of a family dinner

Community Support checks were received from the following:

  • Pat Stull, Lafayette
  • Nancy Perry White, Martinez
  • Dasha Millson, Mary Kay Products, Martinez
  • Liz Sandoval, Martinez
  • Jacque Hall, Martinez
  • Judy Moon, Martinez
  • Debbie Oertel, Mary Kay Products, Martinez

A total of $815 in cash and checks as well as gift certificates from the above mentioned merchants and citizens was presented to the Brock's (see photo) today after the final donation was received.

Thank you to all who participated and opened their hearts and pocketbooks to this family who has brought so much joy to not only Martinez residents but to people from all over the world.  God bless you all and God bless this family as they rebuild their home and create new memories.
