What's Happening in Martinez: Easter Egg Hunt, Farmers Market, Car Show

This Friday, April 6 is the Art Gallop from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. Five local artists will be sharing their personal sketchbooks as part of the Brooklyn Art Library Sketchbook Project. Join us at on Ferry and Marina Vista Streets.
Saturday, April 7 is the Lions / Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt at Waterfront Park, the festivities begin at 10:00 am. Lioness members have filled colorful eggs with treats and prizes.

April 8 is Easter Sunday and also our year round , what better place to pick up fresh eggs.
The Ribbon Cutting is at 6:00 PM on Monday, April 9. Due to heavy rains the lawn areas are still fenced off, but you will be able to see many of the great new improvements to the park.

The Chamber Mixer is on April 12 at Boydstun Construction, 817 Arnold #200 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
Since the rains "dampened" last Saturday's SWAN Day (Support Women Artist Now), the Martinez Art Association is hosting a second SWAN Day at the old train depot parking lot from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 14. There will be live music, belly dancers, and over 50 artists participating.
Another event on April 14 is the Alhambra High School Boosters Car Show from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. It is $25.00 per car for participants and free to the public. Food, music, and lots of "cool" cars.
Sunday, April 15, is the Martinez Brickyard Run to benefit the Alhambra High School and the Martinez Recreation Department. For details: www.active.com.
