St. John Armenian Apostolic Church’s 81st Annual Armenian Food Festival will take place on Saturday, October 24 from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM and Sunday, October 25 from 12:30 to 3:00 PM.
Located at 275 Olympia Way in the Midtown Terrace neighborhood of San Francisco, our Food Festival offers everyone an opportunity to taste a wide variety of Armenian cuisine as well as taking some home with you from our Take-Out Booth.
As before, 100% of all proceeds from our Food Festival will be donated to charities. This year’s beneficiaries are:
* Hidden Road Initiative which provides educational and leadership opportunities to students from remote villages in Armenia.
* Salvation Army Rehabilitation Program which offers a free, holistic six-month residential program combining spiritual guidance, work therapy, counseling, and life skills to help individuals overcome addiction and major life challenges.
* Kitchen Remodel at Hye Camp in the Sierras where many of our youth visit each year.
This year features the return of St. John’s homemade Kufta! We’ll have it available both freshly cooked in the Buffet Line as well as available frozen in the Pre-Sale and Take Out Booth.
In addition to our Buffet Line, we’ll also have the following activities as well:
* Take-Out Booth fresh and frozen food items
* Our Wine Bar featuring Kareen Wines pouring by the glass as well as offering bottles of wine for purchase
* Armenian coffee booth selling coffee and sweets.
* Karoun Dance Ensemble showcasing the talent and dedication of our Armenian dancers with dancing for all afterwards with music by Raffi!
