Capitol Corridor Trains Delayed; Pedestrian Struck
BREAKING: The individual was struck near Albany. Delays are system-wide from Sacramento area through East Bay to South Bay.

BAY AREA, CA – A pedestrian was hit by a train in Albany this morning, a Berkeley police spokesman said.
The collision was reported to Berkeley police at 7:57 a.m. in the area of Buchanan Street and will be investigated by Albany police and Union Pacific, Berkeley police spokesman Sgt. Andrew Frankel said.
Capitol Corridor trains are being delayed as a result of the incident. Capitol Corridor trains run between Sacramento and San Jose.

System-wide delays this morning, due to the incident with San Joaquin train 710, are affecting trains 525, 527, 529 and 531, Capitol Corridor officials said this morning.
