The FREE 3rd annual Contra Costa Camp & School returns to Lafayette THIS SUNDAY, Feb. 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with over 75 exhibitors allowing attendees to view a smorgasbord of camps, enrichment programs, performing arts, preschools, sports and other summer programs available this year.

This FREE EVENT is presented by Bay Area Festivals, Inc., which also produces Bay Area KidFest (Silver Anniversary edition May 23-25 in Concord), Mommy & Me Pop-Up Consignment Sale Mar. 27-29 in Walnut Creek, Bay Area Kid’s Book Fair (Sept. 27 in Lafayette) and Super Holiday Boutiques (Walnut Creek, Alamo, Concord & Pleasant Hill in December).

Bay Area KidFest has been voted Best Community Event four consecutive times by readers of Claycord.com. Bay Area Festivals has donated nearly $70,000 to educational, health, sports and youth non-profits in the past four years.

Producer Jay Bedecarre says, “We are so happy that our Contra Costa Camp & School Fair started in 2013 and now we will have over a half dozen such events this year. This free event provides families a one-stop shopping experience as they plan their summer activities.

He adds that there will be a variety of camps for children, teens and families including day camps, overnight, performing arts, scouts and sports.

Contra Costa Camp & School Fair is at Acalanes High School in Lafayette, which is located just a half mile off Highway 24 at 1200 Pleasant Hill Rd. conveniently located for all of Contra Costa as well as East Bay residents coming through the Caldecott Tunnel.

Camp & School Fair attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods to donate to the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano. Donors receive extra free raffle tickets.
