Contra Costa Coroner IDs Man Killed By Train

ANTIOCH, CA -- A man fatally struck by a train in Antioch on Monday night has been identified by the Contra Costa County coroner's office as 50-year-old Santos Cervantes.

The incident was reported at 8:37 p.m. involving a train in the 300 block of Fulton Shipyard Road.

Contra Costa County Fire Protection District crews responded and found Cervantes, an Antioch resident, 10 minutes later, fire officials said.

No other information about the incident was immediately available this morning.
