CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA – A 20-year-old man shot in the unincorporated Bay Point area of Contra Costa County on Saturday morning has been identified by sheriff's deputies as Bay Point resident Manuel Barrera.
Barrera was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the first block of Bay Drive after a shooting was reported around 4:32 a.m.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Barrera died as a result of gunshot wounds, according to sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee. Further details were not immediately available.
