The city of Martinez is putting on an all-day babysitter workshop this week. Students age 11-14 will be instructed on leadership, safety, safe play, basic care for infants, first aid and running a small babysitting business.
The class is an American Red Cross certification program, and each student will receive two books, a babysitters marketing DVD, snacks and the certification.
Students should bring a lunch.
