Helicopter Transfers Motorcyclist to Hospital After Crash

Contra Costa County, CA -- A motorcyclist crashed Tuesday night in unincorporated Brentwood and had to be taken to a hospital by helicopter, East Contra Costa Fire Protection District officials said.

Firefighters responded at 8:39 p.m. to Orwood and Bixler roads, where they found the motorcyclist on the road.

The person was taken by helicopter to John Muir Medical Center to be treated for injuries. An update on their condition was not immediately available Wednesday morning.
