Martinez House Fire Damages Estimated At $200,000
A two-alarm structure fire did roughly $200,000 in damage to a Martinez home Tuesday night, according to firefighters.

MARTINEZ - A two-alarm structure fire did roughly $200,000 in damage to a Martinez home Tuesday night, according to firefighters.
The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District reported via Twitter at 8:08 p.m. that firefighters were at the scene of a second-alarm structure fire at an address in the 200 block of Midway Drive.
The fire was reportedly under control by 8:35 p.m.

It appears to have been the result of unattended cooking, according to Fire Marshal Robert Marshall.
No injuries were reported.
