New Martinez Police Chief Sworn In By City Council
The ceremonial swearing-in was well attended, especially by members of the police department.
The City of Martinez officially has a new police chief.
Manjit Sappal was sworn-in at Wednesday night’s City Council meeting. A packed house turned out to support the chief.
He was hired away from the Richmond Police Department where he moved up the ranks from officer to captain.
