Local students use an increasing array of electronic devices, from iPads and laptops to smart phones. Keeping those devices charged though an entire school day is a challenge.
That’s where D&D Security Resources comes in. The company, whose National Sales Office is located in Martinez, has become a leader in mobile technology for schools. D&D announced this month that it’s offering a new line of student furniture designed for laptops and iPads in education.

“As student use of mobile technology on school campuses increases, so too has the need for charging when the devices are needed most,” a release from the company states. “Now that students are using mobile devices for school work, reading and communication with teachers, the use of the devices need to be fully charged and available for use at all times.”
The new line of products called EDU2.0 has integrated AC outlets and USB power, allowing students to charge everything from iPads to smart phones.
