Shell Refinery Installing Another Security Fence

If you pass by the Shell Refinery on the Miller/Dineen side off Marina Vista you may see construction crews installing a new fence.

The fence will be a secondary fence, about six feet further into the Shell property.

According to Public Affairs manager Steve Lesher, “This is the latest in a series of security improvements we have been making at the refinery in order to safeguard both the facility as well as the community.”

Lesher promises that the company will maintain the area between the fences.
