SUV Overturns in Crash on Hwy 4 Near Franklin Canyon
The motorist was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

The driver of an SUV that flipped over several times Friday morning in unincorporated Contra Costa County only suffered minor injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials said the single-vehicle crash occurred at 9:45 a.m. on eastbound state Highway 4 near the Franklin Canyon off-ramp, when the SUV struck the center divide.
The motorist was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

The crash prompted two lanes to be closed along the highway as debris was cleared off the road. The lanes have since been reopened, according to the CHP.
