Two Adults Arrested for Allegedly Supplying Alcohol to Minors
A group of minors was also caught with alcohol, cited and released to their parents, according to police.

Two adults were arrested Friday in Martinez on suspicion of buying alcohol for minors, according to police.
During the “shoulder tap” operation, minors working with Martinez police and the state Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control persuaded both adults to buy them alcohol. The adults were then arrested and cited, according to police.
Officers also found a group of minors who’d obtained alcohol from an unknown source. They were cited and released to their parents, according to poilice.

Martinez police say these operations are an ongoing attempt to educate the public about the dangers of furnishing alcohol to minors.
The project is funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
