• NorCal Woman Escapes Kidnapping By Hiding In Gas Station Bathroom: Sheriff (patch.com) — A woman reported being kidnapped outside her McKinleyville home and later hid in a Blue Lake gas station bathroom, where deputies found and rescued her. A 46-year-old suspect was arrested on kidnapping and related charges, and investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office.
