• Testimony Starts in Trial of Felons Accused of Killing Carjacking Victim (mynewsla.com) — A Mead Valley resident was killed during an alleged 2024 pickup theft that has now led to a murder trial underway in Riverside County Superior Court. Prosecutors say two Perris half-brothers stole trucks in Woodcrest and Mead Valley before the fatal shooting near Cajalco Road and Haines Street, with both defendants currently held without bail.
