3 Robbery Suspects Arrested After Attacking Elderly Bicyclist in East Palo Alto
Law enforcement from East PA, San Mateo County and Menlo Park apprehended the trio suspected in numerous area burglaries.

Three male suspects who allegedly conducted a string of strong-arm robberies were arrested Thursday after attacking an elderly man who was riding his bicycle in East Palo Alto, police said.
Police received numerous reports of a strong-arm robbery in progress at the corner of University Avenue and Sacramento Street.
Three male suspects were seen attacking an elderly bicyclist and then fleeing on foot on Sacramento Street when officers arrived, police said. East Palo Alto police with assistance from the San Mateo County Gang Task Force and the Menlo Park Police Department pursued the suspects on foot.

All three suspects were quickly apprehended.
Police identified the suspects, two adults and a juvenile, as East Palo Alto residents.

They were found in possession of stolen property associated with three residential burglaries as well as a commercial burglary in East Palo Alto, police said.
The elderly victim was transported to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, according to police.
The suspects were arrested in connection with the robberies and the investigation into the incidents is ongoing.
