Menlo Park residents may bring household hazardous waste including paint, thinners, motor oil, batteries, fluorescent lamps, pesticides, herbicides, pool and photo chemicals, drain openers, and cleaning solvents to a special drop-off location in central Menlo Park on Saturday, April 14th from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.. There is no charge to participate, but residents must make an appointment at (650) 363-4718 (24 hours a day) or http://www.smchealth.org/hhw. Space is limited. No radioactive, explosive, medical or commercial waste allowed.
