Suspects fled on foot in multiple directions after a patrol officer spotted their black Range Rover and moved to stop them, police said
BURLINGAME, CA — Several suspects were arrested after a theft at a Burlingame yoga store led to a car chase and foot pursuit across two cities, police announced Tuesday.
The incident began a couple of weeks ago when multiple suspects stole $10,000 worth of high-end fitness clothing from a store in the 1300 block of Burlingame Ave.
A Burlingame patrol officer said they later spotted the suspects' black Range Rover on California Avenue heading into San Mateo and alerted dispatch while positioning for a stop.

When officers moved in, the suspects bailed out of the vehicle and fled on foot in multiple directions.
Police pursued and arrested several suspects and recovered the stolen merchandise.

The suspects are from the San Leandro and Hayward area, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
