Afterwards, we could then only imagine FBI Special Agent Sarah Ashburn (Sandra Bullock) just nodding congenially and professionally, not disagreeing. Suddenly, the two of them would rise and sing Ray Charles’ song, ā€œHit the road Jack, and don’t come back no more, no more, no more.ā€ Now, as far as the central theme of ā€œThe Heatā€ goes, it’s not about Jack not having money, but it’s about women’s capability to do what men can do, wrapped in a package of entertainingly funny pairs ofĀ X-chromosomes....
