Found Dog at Burgess Park Saturday 6/20
Found Dog at Burgess Park. Looking for owners to reunite them.

After classes on Saturday, one of our students spotted a little chihuahua hiding under cars in the parking lot. The dog wouldn’t come to anyone, but this patient little boy coaxed him and calmed him down. After getting some water, the dog decided that our boy was the safest place to hang out.
After searching for the owner, we called animal control. They said the dog had been reported in the morning as well, so we know he’d been out on his adventure most of the day. We eventually took the dog up to Peninsula Humane Society and surrendered him. He did not have a chip.
We’re now looking for the adorable little guy’s family to reunite them.

If you lost your dog, please call the Peninsula Humane Society at 650-340-8200.
Our hope is that the dog and his family will be reunited, but if they don’t find his owner in 4 days, they will put the dog up for adoption. If you’ve been wanting a small dog, maybe this one could be waiting for you. If you’d like to foster him or be his new forever home, you could also call PHS and let them know to contact you if they don’t find his owner.
