Menlo 67, Notre Dame-San Jose 60 (OT)
Menlo School guard Lauren Lete sank the three-pointer that sent the game against Notre Dame -San Jose into overtime.
Playing in overtime for the second time in five days, the Menlo School girls’ basketball team overcame Notre Dame-San Jose 67-60 in its West Bay Athletic League-Foothill opener Tuesday.
The Knights (10-4) outscored the Regents 12-5 in overtime. The game was close the entire way as Notre Dame-San Jose poured in the three-pointers, finishing with 14.
Menlo had a lone three-pointer, but a crucial one that junior point guard Lauren Lete sank to tie the game after regulation. Lete finished with 20 points and six assists.

Junior center Drew Edelman collected 30 points, making 10 of 13 free throws, and 12 rebounds. Sophomore Maddy Price was another key contributor, adding seven points and a pair of blocks.
Notre Dame senior Alyssa Andrion had 15 points, all on three-pointers. Nicole Watanabe and Nicole Imanine had four three-pointers each for the Regents (7-7).

The Knights fell by one point in overtime in a non-league game last week before bouncing back with a win Saturday. Menlo continues league play with a game at 6 p.m., Friday against visiting Pinewood.
