Palo Alto Police Seek Stabbing Suspect
The victim was stabbed in the back just off El Camino Real.

Police are looking for a suspect in a Tuesday evening stabbing off of El Camino Real in Palo Alto.
Around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, officers received a report from a man who said he was stabbed earlier in the evening outside Happy Donuts at 3916 El Camino Real, police said. Officers and fire crews quickly responded to the scene, where they found the victim, a man in his 20s, stabbed once in the back, according to police.
The man told police the stabbing happened on Cypress Lane, which is behind the donut shop and other businesses, police said.

The victim said he didnāt know the person who stabbed him, never saw the suspect and could not think of a motive that would lead someone to stab him, according to police.
He was transported to a hospital where he was treated and is expected to fully recover from the wound, police said.
