Police Arrest Man For Possession of Cocaine Base

Menlo Park Police arrested Henry Uili, 27, at his home in East Palo Alto on Monday for possession of a controlled substance and a firearm.

Police had been investigating sales of cocaine base at the Light Tree Apartments for several weeks, according to Eric Cowans, Sergeant on Menlo Park Police’s Narcotics Enforcement Team, gathering evidence.

Officers from East Palo Alto Police Department’s Special Duty Unit worked with law enforcement officials on Menlo Park Police Department’s Narcotics Enforcement Team to execute a search warrant at Uili’s home, located in the 1800 block of East Bayshore Road.

At about 2 p.m., he was leaving his home on foot, when police apprehended him. Detectives searched his home and reported finding a firearm, stolen property, and controlled substances in his possession. 

He was booked into San Mateo County Jail.
